ABOUT SAM
Life is too short to not chase your big, crazy dreams.
As a classic overachiever and people pleaser, I spent the early part of my 20’s checking career boxes, working my way up in advertising and marketing in NYC. But deep down I was harboring bigger dreams, that I didn’t see many examples of.
I wanted to express myself creatively, I wanted to travel more and I wanted more unique experiences. I just had to be brave enough to make it happen.
Change is good.
Yet it took me years to finally take the leap and start my own business. After leaving corporate world of marketing/advertising, I started sharing what I had learned about overcoming people pleasing and building confidence and within 2 years, had built a real business - I had hundreds of clients and over 100k followers on social media. Check that out here.
As my own boss, I got to explore working from different locations but after a year, I wanted more! So I took another leap of faith and decided to go travel full time - to cross some things off my bucket list and to explore where I wanted to live after New York.
Introducing
MY TRAVEL ERA.
Travel for me is more than an escape. Travel is it’s own form of therapy. Travel is where you challenge yourself to stand on your own two feet. To explore who you want to be. To open your mind to new possibilities. And to be completely present to our surroundings (a concept that can be challenging in daily life for the type-A, overthinking girlies.
That’s why it’s so important to me to get past the tourist traps and generic hotels. I love experiencing the design, culture and food a city has to offer. I believe travel doesn’t need to be a luxury price point to feel luxurious (but your girl will always have an assigned seat and a real bed). And I love sharing all my favorite experiences along the way.
Some of my favorites…
French Fries
Reading on my Kindle

London
Glass of wine in the hotel lobby
Dinners at the bar

Where business meets pleasure
In a funny twist of fate, as I set out on this adventure, I noticed how many of the travel and hospitality brands I was so excited to visit needed content in order to reach consumers like me on social media and in a moment, all my professional history and personal passion converged.
HEAR THAT?
You don’t have to choose between making money and living a life that feels magical to you.
But it will take the commitment of being brave and putting yourself out there. And if you are anything like me, I get it, the fear of screwing up or making a mistake or what other people will think can feel paralyzing.
The sooner I started putting my own feelings first, the sooner I saw that most people just wanted me to be happy and the others… well, was I going to let my friend' from high school’s opinion make big decisions in my life?
